So, this move will be the occasion for archiving all my drawings together, let's stay positive. Organization is the key.
All pics in purple are PG and those in red are NC-17 and NWS. Just to be sure, disclaimer : this is fan art, based on the characters and universe created by JK Rowling, owned by her and the publishers and the people who made those movies I don't like. I'm doing this for the pleasure of the fans and my own, and am not making any money.

Here's my confession : I didn't want to admit it, but a very recent event confirms what I've feared : I'm kind of a fan of a certain Mr Rufus Wainwright. Now don't get me wrong : I wouldn't kill to get his handkerchief. But today, this very afternoon in fact, I met him.
... well. More like, took a picture of him with his consent.
And the fact is, I still have some adrenaline pulsing through the head. Or is it the normal reaction to meeting an artist whose songs you've listened to for about a year, which is not that long compared to the age of planete Earth, but significant for me nonetheless, because since I discovered him he has been in my, say, top three favourite artists.
Anyway. I didn't follow him around the city after that, despite my father's advice and my inconscious wish (so, if I listened to my reason telling me he's a normal person probably not wishing to be stalked, am I still okay even with the adrenaline thing ?). I said "merci beaucoup", he said "à ce soir", I said "..." and went straight to the *high adrenaline level-calling my friends* once he was out of view. To make a long story short, I'm gonna see his show tonight, it's an lovely city but the weather is cold, and I'm knackered because I took the train at 7 am to get here. So am occupying myself with one of my other drugs, ie, the Internet.

Today is Mr Oscar Wilde's birthday. He was born one hundred and fifty-three years ago. The quote on top of this journal is from him, one of his numerous witty sayings. Je vous lève mon chapeau, Monsieur Wilde.
(and yesterday was mine. Funny, how many "October babies" (like ednama-I-still-haven't-found-your-nickname said) are amazing beings)

Whoo ! Finally managed to post at lupin_snape. Some things are a bit less practical to do here. But, well.
So ... fanart, Snupin, got the idea when reading about the Resurrection Fest lupin_snape is doing at the moment. It's only a drawble, scribbled with a black pen, but it was nice to do anyway.
I give you the link but please, you'll have to follow the instructions or the effect will be ruined. Not that it's much of an effect, but still. So. Click right away on the pic to make it bigger, and then look at the top first, and only then scroll down to see the rest, slowly. Thanks for indulging me :D.

... now it seems I can't ignore the LJ issue and wait til all goes back to normal. I have just read this post (well, most of it), and right now I'm kind of tired and troubled and disgusted, like everyone else I suppose. I agree with certain things, have an alternative point of view on others, but basically don't want/have the time to get involved in something going so out of proportions. Still, if any US citizen fellow fanartist feels the need to hide for some time, I could always provide you shelter. I'm pretty sure no one here would cause you trouble.
So, instead of writing down my confused thoughts in random order ... I'm going to copy all the posts I made on LJ here, condensed under IJ-cuts, as soon as possible. Because originally I got an LJ to be able to participate to the </a></strong></a>lupin_snape community, and it still is the principal reason I go check my f-list. |

Hey !
Wasn't inspired enough to write an introduction post up until now, but I come bringing art, so let's hope it will distract you if my rambling gets too boring. So. This is mainly a precaution against being left alone in LJ and missing some wonderful fanart/fiction/contests people having left LJ could do here.
I'm a semi-active fan artist, if you can call what I scribble art, and like to read fiction. I came to LJ thanks to the harry Potter fandom, and especially the lupin_snape community, which is also on IJ under the same name. I also recently came back to a previously loved fandom, the X-Men and other Marvel characters (comic universes, not movies ones).
Which brings us to the pic :
