A somehow important date

Today is Mr Oscar Wilde's birthday. He was born one hundred and fifty-three years ago. The quote on top of this journal is from him, one of his numerous witty sayings. Je vous lève mon chapeau, Monsieur Wilde.

(and yesterday was mine. Funny, how many "October babies" (like ednama-I-still-haven't-found-your-nickname said) are amazing beings)

Octobers Babies are indeed great! The evidence of it is that most of my friends are born in October*!(which serves, at least, to proove that october-borned people share the same traits of tolerant minds and infinite patience. heh.)

What my october friends share in common: wittiness, charm and the ability to pout cutely (and for some of them, I'd even say 'stylishly'). Of course, ils ont les défauts de leur qualités, but overall, such great friends they are! ^^

And what is a knickname?

*: and my mother, which is far less cool so then should not be dwelt on too long. Though she, too, can pout cutely.

	Well, you know, we're supposed to be balanced and all ! I too like to compare the personnalities and qualities/faults of people according to their bithdays. Or names. Funny, when I don't quite buy astrology stuff. A knickname is nothing, apart from me doing a stupid spelling mistake... A nickname however, is a surnom ;) (Reply to this) (Parent)
